NETWORK DESIGN
Dell is one of our favorite vendors and we utilize their products in quite a few projects.  However, their sales team has its limitations and designing networks is one of them.  Mid Atlantic Systems’ network engineers design networks that not only look extremely professional, but networks that work for you and your budget.  We don’t fill you up with a bunch of extras that you will never use.  We design efficient networks that exceed your expectations without surpassing your budget. 

Quite a few clients believe a server is a requirement of having a network.  This is not the case.  It is the preferred method but it may not be a manageable expense for some small businesses.  There are methods available to take advantage of some of the features of a network without a server and we can recommend those.  The bottom line is if you do not need a server, we will not tell you that you do.  If you do need a server then we will design, install, and maintain it for you.

 PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Our project management experience comes from years of managing projects of all sizes and varieties.  When it comes to project management we are more a communications company.  We communicate to, through, and for our client until the task is complete.  We also work well beyond the scope of typical IT companies.  We have experience dealing with all types of communications equipment.

Our staff has a multitude of experience as vast as tying wireless communications devices such as radios or Blackberry’s into computer networks.  We do things as typical as designing a network and turning it over to a client.  We set up headquarters and branch offices to communicate acting as one network.  We have programmers that listen to the client and design databases or people that come into an ongoing project and take it to the next level.  Whatever the project, we are here to meet the requirement.

NETWORK INSTALLATION
Designing a computer network is only half of the battle.  Installing a network takes great vision, versatility, and adaptability.  Foreseeing problems is important when installing a network.  Most people do not realize that electronics are very sensitive to temperature.  Heat can cause all sorts of unnecessary problems and is only one of the many considerations when installing a network.  Businesses like to keep their servers out of sight and that is fine, but if a closet is going to reach 100 degrees on a consistent basis, that is not a good location for it. 

Many other considerations need to be accounted for when installing a network and the professionals at Mid Atlantic Systems are the people you want on your installation team.  We will run the cables and install the system. 

One of our most favored features clients love is our test lab.  When we design a system, we will install it in our test lab.  This works great for clients who do not have office space and either need to load proprietary software or just want to see what their computers will do.  Setting up the test lab at our office also minimizes the required amount of time we need to be on site. 

NETWORK IMPLEMENTATION
For most small businesses it is not feasible to replace the entire network at once.  Such an endeavor is an extreme investment.  Most firms will do networks in phases.  Updating to new forms of software and allowing them to work seamlessly with outdated legacy software takes experience.  Mid Atlantic Systems has the experience to implement new network pieces such as servers and tie them into existing computers.
